Jon Leimkuhler

Born and raised in Colorado, I grew up with a love and passion for the outdoor lifestyle; from camping and hiking to fishing and SCUBA diving. My love of SCUBA diving brought me to the Florida Keys as a diving instructor, and I truly fell in love with the Keys’ lifestyle. I am a backcountry fishing enthusiast, and can be found on many an evening fishing in the creeks and bays. I also believe in being involved in the local community as well. I have been a past member/volunteer of Big Brothers of America, Rotary Club and Habitat for Humanity. I have also acted as a temporary foster home for Marrvelous Pet Rescues.

I earned my Realtor’s license in 1999 and began my career in property management. I managed long-term residential properties, vacation rental properties, small apartment complexes and personal self-storage units. The experience I gained in my years as a property manager has helped me with a wide range of knowledge on many of the issues that buyers and sellers alike have to deal with when entering into a real estate transaction. Through continuing education I have also obtained my GRI designation as well as special training in Short Sales and Foreclosures. I believe that my desire to help my clients realize their dreams is one of my strongest assets.
