I grew up in the Midwest & moved to south Florida in 1980. I have always wanted to live on a tropical island and in 1999, my dreams came true. I was lucky enough to marry my best friend, Scott, who happened to live on Plantation Key. What more could a girl ask for, a great guy & living in Paradise! I am so happy to live here on this island paradise, there is always something fun to do and great people to meet. The Keys’ lifestyle is a one of a kind and I truly love it here. The island people are warm, relaxed & friendly; why wouldn’t you be? After all, we are lucky enough to live on an island that offers so much, we have great diving, fishing, the Everglades in our backyard and so much more. The mainland is close enough but, it seems a million miles away. Our lives are also involved with MarrVelous Pet Rescues; we have been placing homeless animals since 2007. We almost always have a foster dog in our home. It is a wonderful feeling to see the right match with pets & people, just as I also love to match people with the right home…
