Keys Living
The sun rises out your back door over the Atlantic Ocean.
Whether it be
fishing, diving, snorkeling or kayaking, here in the Keys you
can choose to do
everything . . . or simply nothing at all.
Our waterfront community is a chain of islands connected to one
another by
a series of bridges. Closest to mainland South Florida, you’ll
find Key Largo.
At the end, 106 miles southwest is Key West, jutting out into
the Atlantic, a
mere 90 miles from Cuba.
Islamorada
Did someone say fishing? Islamorada is known as the
“Sportfishing Capital
of the World”, and for good reason. The Atlantic is teeming with
marlin,
tuna and dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), among others, and the backcountry
of the
Gulf of Mexico offers permit, tarpon, bonefish and more. If
you’d rather
swim with the fish than catch them, Islamorada
offers some spectacular snorkel and dive sites as well.
On land, you are only limited by your imagination. You’ll find a
wide assortment of restaurants, resorts
and local watering holes. In true island style, even most of the
“dressiest” establishments cater to the
“Keys Casual” kind of lifestyle.
After all, that’s why you’ve come to the Keys, isn’t it?
